One of the better sleep I had in weeks.

Max had been discharged 3pm yesterday. The vet said the lump has shrunk, so he just did scaling and bisopsy. Max was groggy, but alright.

Last night I didn't put Girlcat in the cage, and she didn't break anything.

Of all the toys, she LOVES the curly wurly made from a length of wire.

Happy Halloween everyone.

Happy gotcha day, Spencer. She came to our place in 1999, scrawny ugly and loud.

She is still loud, but she is Queen now. Many more happy and healthy years, Spencer, thank you for keeping me sane.

GB's spot has been filled in by a new gray Persian young cat. Bh2 was guiding it at the car park, it was so scared and jumpy I have not seen its face. Uncle said someone from 2 blocks away dumped it, because he already had 3 cats. Moron.

Uncle said the surviving GB went missing for one day, reappeared again today, vomitted out some gastric juices, and has been sleeping since 5pm. I wonder if GB had been abused, poisoned or tortured. The rest of the gang are well, their collars still intact. Ginger's son is looking particularly robust and handsome.

The girlcat is still recuperating at home. She is a fur ball of energy, we will have to release her on Saturday, though I would very much like to keep her. Her whiskers are growing back slowly, but her tummy fur is not.

I think, I hope, I am going to be ok.

Last night I wrote out all my thoughts, I think it had helped.

Slept from 10pm to 12mn, woke with nightmares, then slept until 3am.

There is this great emptiness within me.

Max will be undergoing his oral surgery today.

One of the Gingerbabies was killed by a car last night. Uncle sms-ed me this morning.

Same spot as KK a few years ago. Apparently there was a lot of blood on the road just outside my kitchen.

The body couldn't be found, Uncle asked all the cleaners he knows, and DogBoy confirmed it was one of the Gingerbabies, the tamer one. Uncle had called SPCA and there was no injured cat being brought in from our area.

Poor GB, I hope he went straight across the rainbow bridge and reached kitty heaven with a full stomach.

I feel so numb.

Slept from 9pm to 230am.

The nightmares are coming back.

Then I slept from 3am to 445am.

I had been looking for this book on Amazon but they were sold out.

Now I found it in the bargain piles at Borders.

I went to Borders looking for postcards of artworks but they didn't seem to have them at all.

It is only 615am and it is HUMID!

I had been waking every 3 hours since 9pm, but at least there was no scary dreams anymore, and I could fall asleep again. Spencer slept with me, and tried to wake me at 4am for biscuits.

The girlcat didn't make a peep.

I think some bad fengshui is also causing my sleep problem, on top of the stress at work and all that.

Parents came on Saturday and ma helped me cleaned up the house and the plants, bless her soul.

Happy Deepavali to all Hindu cats and their beans.

May there always be lights in your life.

According to Oxford Paperback Dictionary Thesaurus,

covet=long to possess something belonging to someone else.

According to Silence of the Lambs, it will be something which you see everyday.

I am ok.....just very tired.

Girlcat is doing well, the most perfect little kitten.

She is toilet trained!!!!

She is quiet all the time, and didn't shred newspapers and towel in the cage.

It really is getting wintry here.

Slept from 10pm to 4am. Kiki had an very early breakfast.

Spencer insisted that I let him in.

A bit of how I am feeling now.

Uncle sms-ed me this morning, to tell me that he saw the girlcat at his block!! He said it was brown tail though. I was pretty sure the girlcat is grey.

Later in the evening he sms-ed me again, that Dogboy had confirmed it really was the girlcat, and please come down with the carrier. I don't know how she found her way to our block, she was 10 blocks away when I last saw her!!!

She was quite fiesty, kicking and screaming when we stuffed her in the carrier, and when I was carrying her upstairs. She spitted at Calico and Bh2.

But after she went into the bathroom, she calmed down and started to purr.

Someone had snipped off all her whiskers. Poor little thing.

I had sent her off to veganmeowie for the neutering tomorrow, uncle will pick her up, and I will keep her in for three days. Then we will release her to the back garden to be with Monty and Tricolor. The power station is too crowded now.
Bad dream.

Uncle didn't manage to trap anyone last night.  He and Dogboy were scouting the neighbourhood for hours with a hot pink carrier, in the rain.

He will try again tonight.

Tomorrow he will start to work, AAVC is not open on Friday and Saturday, and Sister S will be back on Sunday night.

Prayers for Tofu's girlfriend and her mum.

I am sorry I was not able to save them in time.

At least now they are reunited over at rainbow bridge.

Uncle and Dogboy are trapping the girlcat tonight, for neutering tomorrow.

He introduced me to the dancing instructor at the CC.

She is taking care of Tofu's girlfriend's brother.

She stays at 1oth floor, and the tom XiaoBai goes up to look for her everyday. Unfortunately her PRC neighbour beat up XiaoBao with bamboo pole, for no reason. She was asking for Uncle's help, to see if XiaoBai can be neutered, and maybe he won't be as noisy.

I told her XiaoBai is wary of me, and she or Uncle have to help me trap him. As for the PRC neighbour, their inborn cruelty cannot be cured. It is in their genes.

Generally toms are easier to arrange than females. After this we have to do the black persian and the tuxedo tom.

Tofu's girlfriend died on the operating table, during neutering, she was so weak.

Her mother was culled by AVA.

The dancing instructor said she still feels very sad, though it has been months ago. I understand her pain.

One at a time bah.

See this furry little dracula.

He was released at 530am. He had been quiet the whole night. He is in good spirits, yawning and scratching, even growling at Kiki as we passed him.

When I reached the powerstation, the other gingerbaby rushed out to see his brother.

I am gonna named him Unaballer.

Uncle and Dogboy returned at 740pm. Both gingerbabies were eating and drinking. I saw one of them wobbly on his knees, and Dogboy said we should keep him indoors for one night, just in case. We let him poo-ed in the bush, then back into the carrier he went.

The other one is alert and vocal, so we hope he would rest in the power station for tonight.

I think the one-baller is the one with yellow eyes, he is also the wobbly and weaker one. I was surprised, because he did have bigger balls.

I had cleaned and disinfected the carriers. Gingerbaby is resting in the bathroom.

I am glad all 4 have been done, now the two at 736 and the sweet girl at 744 are next.

I am glad that Uncle and Dogboy had offered to help.

As you can see here, there is no love lost between Hat and Kiki.

I went to 736 to look for the kitties, with camera this time.

This gorgeous tortoiseshell lady just woke up, and was waiting for her regular feeder. I am sure she wouldn't mind if I have biscuits with me!

She reminds me of AuntyCat whom I had been feeding for years, then one CNY the family just moved away without saying goodbye. Of course Auntycat is petite and has wonderfully deformed paws and great character. I hope she is still happy and healthy with her family. I do miss her very much.

Another ginger/white at the block. There should be another older, fatter one with the same colorings. Didn't see the tuxedo tom though.

Mera smells better, and looks better today.

Last night his mum told me he was in the house, after I warned her about SITA.

Maybe she bathed him.

Here he was checking out the box the kitten had slept in. He just sniffed, but he wasn't upset by it. Maybe because the smell belongs to a girlcat??

Love his cute little paws.

Here he was contemplating the rain, didn't know to leave or not.

Now where am I gonna find a fake tip ear for him?

Magic mushrooms.

Dear San

the cat tucks his paws in.....

It is raining.....

So there. It is scientifically proven.

Hahahahaha.

Now I really wonder who is the one-baller.

Haha!

Poor Mera.

It started to rain at 4pm with thunders.

He stayed on the corridor and was afraid to come in.

I carried him in and he went under the bed.

I left foods for him.

New book by the same author!!!! I have been looking forward to it for so long!

The book is thinner, but the drawings are still delicate, whimsical and in great details.

And they have a whole ranges of JPN calendars, diaries, organisers and greeting cards on sale in Kinokuniya.
So...you mean I won't have great grand kids anymore.....??????

Post-dinner grooming.

Glad to see she is still alright.

This is the cat from one of the blocks near to the vet and bus stop. Solid black, calm and tipped.

While its friend was watching from a bush behind me. I think it is tipped too.

Is it just a farce to delude us who really care about community cats??

WAAAAAAAAAHHHH I WANT MY MUMMY~

She was getting terribly upset, because I thought her vet opens at 930am, but it is at 10am. So we had to wait for one hour at the kopitiam. The coffee boy sort of recognised me already. He said most people would come to the vet on weekends, not on Monday mornings. Anyway, the vet finally opened, I handed over the cat and the voucher, and told them to call me if anything. They said I could collect after 530pm.  Then I caught a bus home, rushed off to send the boy to his vet, ready for collection after 7pm. Luckily uncle offered to pick up the boy, because it is within walking distance, and he did ask about the post-op care. And luckily I checked, because the other vet didn't open until 6pm!!! Quite infuriating, I could have wasted another 30 minutes!

I am glad both kitties were alert when released.

This is the tricolor who was almost culled.

This is the very elusive black persian tom we are still trying to trap.
