Happy Gotcha Day Spencer.

It has been 10 years.

Really, the best cat in the world.

For being true, being constant, being herself.

But because I care about them, they are, to me.

I wouldn't have asked you to leave your desk and come out to help, no matter how tired and hungry and stressed I was.

I wouldn't have sit down and rest and eat, if I knew you had not eaten as well.

I wouldn't have stand there and watch you being verbally abused by another colleague, without doing anything saying anything to help or diffuse the situation. Especially if you have been my right hand person, my ground leader since day one. Especially if you have been sticking your neck out for me.

I wouldn't have send you have to your medical appointment without any words of encouragement, seeing how visibly upset you were, knowing how much you hate needles and have suffered during the last 2.

I wouldn't have walk out and leave you alone, without assigning someone else to step in and help you, knowing that it is too much for you to be holding the fort alone.

See how smug she is, and the way she folded her paws!

I am sure she will enjoy a good night sleep, as I do.

He started to have diarrhoea again at 4pm today.

When Sister K picked him up at 11am, the cage was clean and he only pee-ed in the carrier later.

The vet said he has flagella infections, so he is on antibiotics and anti-diarrhoea meds now.

The RBC has gone up, so no more Eprex for now.

The sub Q will have to continue.

They had sticthed up the wound on the inner thigh sustained during grooming, though there was no bleeding last night.

He is still eating well, we will continue with the k/d wet and dry, since he is still partial to it.

He was grumpy in the beginning, but he ate and napped, and he looked happy.

The vet will see him again on Thursday.

I am sure Spencer and Kiki are very relieved as well.

Hat will know soon enough.

It was only a dream.

It felt so real, maybe it was sent across the night sky to me.

As quickly as it had started, the diarrhoea stopped at 10pm.

That was right after the sub Q, when he perked up. We sent him to bed with a hot water bottle and some peace and quiet.

He meowed very loudly at 6am, and he had pee-ed, but no poo this time.

I let him have some k/d again, as I really really don't want him to go back to the normal foods again.

He finally let me do the sub Q, after the n th poo after 9pm.

I think he knew that the IV would make him feel better. I wanted to go all the way to 100ml, but he preferred to stop at 75ml.

He does look better after that, even asking for food.

I think it is best to let him starve for a while, as I am quite sure it is the k/d giving him diarrhoea.

I am in total despair.

He has been having diarrhoea non stop since 4pm, I had lost count.

Then he would sit in the poo and stain his body and paws and tail.

I had just finished washing and blow drying him.

Will definitely do the sub Q later.

Max only weighs 1/10 th of Shadow!!

A very substantial, huggable cat. I think he has put on weight again.

He is about 8 years old already.

I brought Max for grooming, just a basic one, to get rid of the poo on his body and paws.

We had to wait for a while, as there were a few dogs before us. Max walked about the shop, watching and sniffing. Shadow tailed him and snarled at him, so Max went back to his carrier and waited. Everyone commented on how well behaved he is.

I told the groomer to be extra extra careful and gentle, as Max is old and he has just recovered.

I watched the process throughout. Max could see me as well.

The groomer cleaned his ears, trimmed his claws and the fur on his paws, paw pads, face and ears.

He tried to shave his tummy but it was quite tricky so we didn't proceed.

Then he bathed Max, blow dried, and trimmed the nails again. Then each claw was cleaned with cotton wools.

The groomer said Max is a very very good boy. I know Max didn't enjoy it, but he didn't yowl. He is looking so much better.

When the groomer hugged Max, Max responded by extending his paw and touching the groomer's face.

He is resting now in his cage. He had some bloody loose stools just now after food, and he refused the sub Q.

We will let him rest for now.

She had poo-ed and pee-ed.

She rest in my room just now, until I need to mop the floor.

She also had biscuits with some Meatlovers kibbles, and some wet food.

I had wiped her down as well.

The weather is fine and windy, so I left him outside, and also to give Spencer some space.

I know Spencer doesn't like Max's presence, or any cats' presence for that matter.

But she knows Max is unwell, we have to take care of him, no matter what.

I would have done the same for her.
