He is quite rotund himself!

I wonder if the boys have a roster, who to sleep on the cushion when.

I had never seen Calico sleeping on it though, but she is the leader of the pack.

She is back to her rotund profile again, after regular feedings.

She is now staying at the front garden with Hat and Bh2, and would greet me every morning as early as 6am. Mera has accepted her, and sometimes I see her slapping Hat.

Hat is well. He is eating quite a lot, and he comes up regularly, even when Max was around.

She was a bit crabby so I took down the padded hut, though it was rather dusty.

See this silly boy. He has never shown any interests to boxes until now.

Maybe the rains did it.

Don't know how it had happened, but it did.

Socks, the Clintons cat, was helped over the rainbow bridge on 20th February 2009. He was 20 years old, suffering from cancer, and had been staying with Betty Currie, Clinton's secretary, since the family left the White House with Buddy the dog.

I hope Socks had been happy in the Currie household, though he was blatantly abandoned by the First Family.

Godspeed, Socks. You are a pride to all the tuxedo cats!!

So far, I have only been awake for 2 hours today.

It rained in the afternoon.

Literally, a white horse prince.

Hahahahaha.

My staff's birthday is coming, and this patent Leah wristlet from Coach is on her wishlist.

I went to Coach at TAK, they didn't know what is Leah.

They didn't know patent is not matt.

Yes they know black, but they showed me gold and grey.

They kept showing me wristlets with prints though I told them I was looking for solid color.

Then after all that, they told me they had sold out on the model.

*faintz*

I tried to look for something else in the shop. But with all due respect, I have never been a fan of Coach. I couldn't find anything to buy in the shop at all, so I left.

Reiku Saido ( Lakeside ) by Keigo Higashino.

One of the scariest books I have read for a long long time.

It wasn't the murder which spooked me, it was the descriptions of human nature, deceit and society as a whole.

I am a great fan of detective novels, I love Agatha Christie and P D James, and recently, Misa Yamamura.

Keigo is famous for creating Galileo, a genius physicist who helped to solve crimes.

Sister S said I shouldn't read too many of these, my brain may get twisted.

Flowers for work.

January: fake plum blossoms

February: some purple flowers with no pollens. I quite like the idea of the rocks.

Sick in bed, due to exhaustion and some unknown bugs.

One after another, bad incidents happening at work.

I don't understand why some people can be so cruel, heartless and selfish to their colleagues and staffs.

I had seen lots of poor team leaders, in charges, executives or managers over my years of work, and she really is the WORST.

The weather has cooled down after a storm in the afternoon. But haze is back.

Stupid Kiki wallopped Yb real good on the corridor at 4am. I hope Yb is ok.

Haven't seen Mera for a few days now.

CHLAMYDIA......?????!!!!

My staff told me her cat SaraLee has been having discharges from her eyes and nose, and the mucus was green in color. I told her it might be catflu, as the cat was adopted from cattery about 3 months ago. Plus the cat has been listless and sad, and lost her appetite.

My staff burst into tears, thinking that her cat was dying. Actually she wanted to adopt a kitten, but she chose SaraLee, who is 6 years old, in the end. The cat has pretty marbled markings on white fur.

She called me on Saturday evening to give me some updates. Apparently it wasn't catflu, but chlamydia conjunctivitis!!!!!!! Just as well, because it is more difficult to treat than catflu!!!!!!

So now Saralee is on oral anitibiotics and eyedrops, and after that she will have to lose some weight!

I think maybe it was what Fiver had as well.

The weather had turned beastly hot. I had to sleep on the floor last night. Spencer had her own quiet spot under the bed.

The heat and the commotion made her grumpy, though both of us were very very sleepy.

Kiki has been trying to sneak into the house, and could only be pacified with rabbit tail.

I gave Spencer a brush on the corridor, that relaxed her, and she is sleeping now.

Helpz~

My cat is a hovercraft...

Thats what I think about V Day.

Poor guy, totally understands the pain he was going through.

He really likes this toy.

Kiki overcame by the heat and fainted outside our door, while Hat was looking concerned.

Kiki is eating a lot and putting on weight, but his fur is is falling off.

He likes to seek me out to play rabbit tail. Poor thing.

It was so beastly warm and humid last night, and my cold was exacerbated by the changing pressure system.

There was a Malay wedding downstairs, but it was tolerable. The cats were mesmerised by the drums and prayers. I just hope Mera didn't spray on the dais.

It was so warm Hat prefers to sleep on the balcony after his meals.

Friday the 13th...woooooooo~

Colleague's birthday tomorrow. We bought a cake, lighted the candles, I switched off the pantry light and told him there was a black out please go check it out. He was genuinely pleased when he saw the cake.

Such a simple thing can make someone so happy.....

Various news and observations.

My staff told me she is getting married in March, and she is only 20 years old, the boy is of the same age. She burst into tears when she broke the news, I wasn't sure why. But I was the first to know.

Classical music is more conducive to a fast paced working enviroment. Tchaikovsky is particularly effective to make people move. But they hate operas.

HMV is having post CNY sale, and I managed to get lots of good original classical music CDs for $19

Khalil Fong 方大同 has a very very good voice.

For all his talents, Phil Scolari could not make Chelsea works. I guess the combined egos of the Chelsea players is larger than the Brazillian and Portugese national teams. Good luck to Guus Hiddink.

I went to adidas shop at TAK, and the sales staff asked me if all the shirts I bought before CNY fit well. Erm...

Apparently there is a ginger cat lurking about behind our work place. I saw him when we first moved in. The girls said he is still around.

The tuxedo tom from 2 blocks away had been neutered and released, PJ aunty sponsored the ops while CWS helped her to trap and transport the cat.

Uncle is still out of a job.

The weather is getting warmer.

A colleague who hardly speaks to anyone at work asked to see my CD collections once I started the classical theme.

She likes to sit in front of the sunlight and catch the breeze.
