What is there to be proud of?

60 years of oppression?

60 years of human rights violation and animal cruelty?

60 years of rampant capitalism and zero ethics?

They said there were tremors in the west.

I didn't feel anything.

He said he was at home at that time, he felt the ground moved, and his TV and fan were shaking.

He was in the house at 6am, because it rained earlier.

Maybe I shouldn't have told you the view will be great from the top.

Now I am stumbling and falling behind, slowing you down.

I will not stop unless you do.

But I do not know when we will reach the summit, and who will share the view with us, if we do.

Thats all very well.

But I need a reason to carry on.

He came at 6am today, through the window.

I was surprised.

I was talking to Mera's mum, it has been about 3 years since I lodged Hat in KindlyNeighbour's vacant unit, as Hat was accused of killing someone's pet birds.

Hat stayed there for about 5 months, I visited him twice a day.

So that means Hat should be about 4 years old. When I found him on my corridor with a tangled collar, he was already quite grown.

I think most people would only have this kind of expression when confronted with a diamond as big as a egg.

It doesn't have to be.

It can be how the sunlight plays among the leaves. It can be a calico kitty camouflaged among the bushes. It can be punnets of strawberries displayed at the market. It can be fireworks in a night sky. It can be a moment of quietness in the late afternoon.

And yes, it can be a slice of toro tunabelly.

May you find beauty in everyday life.

Even after all the over exposures from the tabloids, TV shows and diamond commercial, they seem genuinely in love.

Happy to be in each other's skin.

Natural with each other's family.

The gestures, the glances, the smiles, the chemistry. I think those can't be faked.

All the best for 29092009, Fann and Christopher.

This is a quiet spot behind the pet shop.

I didn't know why I took that turn, but I did, and was surprised.

It was lovely.

The best thing was the litter bin on the air con unit.

I wonder if the cat really does his/her business there??

Is Monday gone yet?

Kiki was on nip, and I played rabbit tail with him. He shredded all the newspapers.

Starting work today.

I will pace myself.

I am lucky to get understanding and supportive bosses and colleagues.

Seems like a lifetime ago, seems like just yesterday.

Maybe I am just more used to "working from home" the second time round.

Oh oh....and this girl.....enuf aleady

I won't tell you all what I think of her lah....but she gets her 15 minutes worth of fame, so I guess she wins anyway.

Definitely not 美貌和智彗并重的化身loh........

They will eat her alive in HK.

Several interesting things from the Sunday Times.....
I like this article. Especially the part about not taking nonsense to your vet to distract them, help the vet to restrain your pets, and respect all clinic staffs.
Spencer, Mera and Max are lucky, they have found a good vet. Even Kiki had benefitted from him.

This one.....aiyah......wuliao lah......good food is good food, be it from SG or MSIA.

This place is actually just behind when I work. It was such a dingy place, I never realised it is so famous. I heard the nasi lemak is nice.

This one is nice, because reading is a good habit which should be promoted. I always have a book on me, even if it is just a 20 min ride to NOV or ORC.

Interesting to see most people cannot read on buses as well, unless it is a super riveting book.

In JPN, even more people read on the trains, and we know how crazy crowded their trains are. Most read comics, or newspapers folded in small small square.

PS: that black pile is not my hair, it was Spencer's butt.

Erm.....this thing works......not sure what the mode of action is.

It is easily available, but they have a less obiang packaging now.

He was genuinely happy when he won, you could see him bouncing on his heels on the podium, like a kid.

Before the race started, his girlfriend did look worried. But his dad was calm.

Afterall, it is a dangerous sport.

We are blessed.

Sister S's friend went to Hokkaido and brought us musk melon. I do not even dare to think how much this one melon costs.

She also bought me a cat music box from Otaru.

Someone asked me about whether the WishBone adultcat formula is completely free of fish. Her cat is allergic to fish.

Well, Bedhead, I had looked through the packaging carefully, and saw no fish being mentioned at all.

This Australian product is manufactured in NZ, so I think what they said can be trusted.

PS: Should be available at major pet stores, no need to import.

What is living on the moon in your country?

In JPN, rabbits are.

Mid autumn festival SG style.....play candles until messy messy.

Oh groan......

MRRRRRRRRRAWWWWW~ *hiss* *spit* *claw*

Standard reactions from Mera, each afternoon we try to rinse his mouth.

Sister S said he stops dropping by at 8am, because I have recovered.

Unlike some people, I do not think of my cats as little persons. I don't babytalk them.

I just treat them like cats, but with an IQ and EQ of some humans. And with more common sense too.

Mera. He is gifted.
