So fast...June already.

One of the aunties at work made bacang, the Teochew style.

I asked her what is Teochew style, she couldn't explain, just that it is paler vs Hokkien style.

Basically it is not as dark, and it contains mushrooms, pork, peanuts, salted egg yolk and dried shrimps.

I will be busy for the next 8 weeks at least, with online course and getting prepared to train the kids.

I don't think it will make much difference for Spencer.

She still gets her sun throne on the weekends.

原来,我最放心不下的人是你。

Pretty much how I see myself now.
No, not the dragon, the Prince.

And write no evil.

But then, what am I if I cannot see, hear, speak and write?

I am not a mouthless doll.

Just a cardboard box, and she has been glued to it the whole day.

Our thoughts and purrayers go to Megat and San ( animesanzo.blogspot.com ).

Megat had just undergone an ultrasound, the vet diagnosed lymphoma, and only 4 months left for Megat.

I know there is no cure, Megat has FIV and liver and kidney problems, Megat is enduring Eprex subQ twice a week, he had a hard life for the last 10 years before San rescued him from a dingy carpark.

Megat, you must fight!

Yup, thats us.

We are still playing once a week. It has been 9 weeks now. Other colleagues are quite amazed that we are still going strong.

I thought the least we can do is try to make a habit out from it, to sustain it. Since everyone has bought a racket, we might as well make the money worth.

The venues have very limited slots actually, hence we can't play more often.

Cute shoes from puma.

My colleague finally got what he had coveted for a long time: an iphone.

I admit, it is a beautiful piece of work.

But it will be too complicated for me to use.

She kept me occupied the whole morning by vomitting on my bed, in her basket, on her toys. I am sure I got some on myself too. Yurk.

I have been brushing her every week, but she is still vomitting fur bullets.

Sigh~

It is barely 10am and it is so very warm and humid, the rain is making it worse.

Spencer telling me she needs the aircon, NOW!!!

This is one of the worst and longest heat spell I can remember.

Spencer loves the air con, whereas Kiki is not so lucky. I know he likes it too. He gets all excited in the room, and starts to groom and get ready for bed.

Hat is sad.

Nutro has been recalled.

I hope Hat is alright though...he has been eating that brand for a few years now, and Mera has just been started on it.

The kitties don't really like Sannabelle and Royal Canin anymore, I don't like the smell of ScienceDiet, Orijen is very very expensive......sigh.

Here we go again.

We had a quiet day at home.

It is still very very warm.

She napped, and I read.

I saw him at 4pm, so I gave him a can. He finished most of the food.

Then I medicated him, which he hates very very much.

This is a hilarious pix, I got it from BBC.

It was supposed to be some robotic dinosaur scaring the wits out of two school kids at the National Museum.

Slowly.

It will pass.

I will forget.

I think.

She wants the air con, and she wants staying inside the room with her.

Silly kitty.

Her appetite towards wet food has been quite good lately.

It has been so warm it is impossible. I am sure Spencer is suffering too.

I saw Mera sitting on the garden path this morning, enjoying the cooler air. I had told his mum to watch out for his gums. She said Mera's appetite has improved.

The new cat at the power station has taken to a worse, he looked very very ill and tired, with third eyelids and some drools.

The rest of the kitties are OK, they don't go near to the new cat. Uncle and Dogboy assured me they will watch out for any assholes who try to harm the kitties.

Actually each of us has different names for the same cats.....

Tarts from Perla's Pastry Boutique.

I saw them at Takashimaya, during an Italian Fair.

I bought the fig tart, because it was something different. The guy said another less sweet choice would be the pear and dark chocolate ( crostata di pere al cioccolato ). I would have gone for the one with berries ( crostata ai frutti di bosco ).

The person who ate the tart said it was very very good.

There is also a stall selling fresh kimchi at the food hall.

He sprayed on my racquets.

White lardball, do you want me to neuter you again?????!!!!!

Going back to work tomorrow, after three days of rest.

Hopefully I can now face everything and everyone with clarity and fortitude.

I will not allow myself to be so tired ever again.

He reminds me of Andy Lau, in that movie when he acted as a very fat man in JPN, with Sammi Cheng.

I think, he seems happier.

He is grooming deligently in the cage now.

Mera is back.

He had pee-ed and eaten once he reached home. Now he wants out.

The vet said he didn't eat at all last night, and he had some soft poos.

They had cleaned his teeth, and ears, and trimmed his claws.

The gums are still sore, the vet had given him a jab and antibiotics paste for one week.

As for after care, it is either brushing, oral rinse, or antiseptic into the drinking water.

I am afraid all these options are possible, but not sustainable.

The vet knows about Mera's mum, but he always forgets that Mera is 99% stray. Mera will not allow us to brush his teeth or put a long spout into his mouth with gooey liquid which tastes funny. And we don't even know where is his secret drinking hole. I will be lucky to see him once a day on a regular basis.

After all the discussions, the vet asked me, how?

I said, hope for the best loh.

The vet will see Mera in one month's time. We have to monitor his gums condition in the mean time.

It was so beastly hot last night.

More bad dreams.

Maybe it is a way for my body to purge out the unhappiness.

Mera hardly comes up now, so it is quite difficult for the friendship to sustain.

But I am sure he still has a special place in Spencer's heart.

Badminton tonight.

I finally played like my normal self, but the others had improved as well. Which is a good thing.

Dinner was somewhere in Buangkok, after a 20 minutes walk. The Ampang yong tau hu was not bad. Except the stall owner was sniffling *bleh*

It turned out to be one of the most surreal dinner I have, because a colleague whom I respect and admire started to talk about relationships, marriage, meeting girls, prospective girlfriends, clubbing and lovebites. The others had no problems with these topics.

I admit I am stuffy, boring, dull, straightlaced.

I don't like this version of him.

Of course, he may have been like this all along. It is only until now that he feels so at ease that he shares his thoughts with us.

Maybe I had chosen not to see his flaws all this while.

My favorite pasar malam snack, after steamed cakes in macaroons color.

Whatcha looking at hmmmmm~?

A rare sunny day.

Or should I say, a rare sunny day and I can enjoy it.

Kiki was nodding off, Spencer was inspecting the cat food delivery.

The pet shop told me they have to move, after 10 years at the premises.

The new location will be nearer to when we stay actually, so it is good news.

The even better news is, they are taking Shadow the Sumo Cat along with them as well.
